Overall, the site underwent a dramatic transformation, especially in terms of its natural features and the number of ancient structures, with the mountains giving way to houses, while the temple and the sea remained intact.
In terms of the northern half of the site, the most noticeable change occurred in the north-east, where the mountains visible in 2004 had disappeared by 2014, giving way to a block of eight ancient houses. This brought the total number of houses on the site to nine, compared with just two a decade earlier. In addition, an ancient stadium was discovered in the north-western corner, while an ancient toilet was found at the top centre of the site.
Turning to the southern half, one of the three large trees in the south-west was removed, leaving only two. Meanwhile, an ancient palace was uncovered in the area just to the east of these trees. By contrast, the ancient temple to the south, as well as the sea running along the eastern edge, stayed the same.
